Arlo, a young college student, finds himself lost, alone, and seeking connection. As he looks up at the moon, he reflects on the beautiful yet painful moments he shared with his past love. Through his journey, he discovers the true nature of human connection and the memories that haunt him. However, when he comes back to reality, he thinks he sees his past love on a nearby balcony across his window, only to realize it's just a neighbor.
A glimpse of hope appears on his face, seeking human connection, but it is quickly replaced by a reminder of the cruel reality of solitude. Arlo struggles with feeling alone but finds some comfort in knowing that the moon connects him to others.
